February Vacation classes will run from Tuesday, February 21 to Friday, February 24 at Franklin Elementary School. Sign up for a morning class, an afternoon class or both! If you sign up for both, be sure to also register for lunch. Registering for lunch lets us know that your child will stay with us the whole day but we do not provide lunch. Players will learn the basics of soccer through a series of fun games in a non-competitive setting and get individualized instruction in high-energy scrimmages. Calling All Architects! Build the Next Great Skyscraper! (grades 2-5)
Form your architectural firm and start imagining the building of your dreams. Your instructor will guide you along the way – from the mathematical calculations every good architect must make to the history of how the elevator revolutionized Manhattan. Learn to consider the environment, transportation, parking, and green space as you create a working blueprint for your creation. Then you’ll bring it to life as a Lego model! Present your work to your peers and demonstrate how your tower will be the next great building of the 21st Century. The sky’s the limit!

Technology & Design Sampler (grades 2-8)
Dive into video game design, coding, 3D art, and more! Explore a wide variety of STEM technology in a rotating schedule with technologies like Tinkercad, Flowlab, Minecraft, Roblox, and several others! Students will be encouraged to try several of these options over the first few days and then dig deeper in areas that excite them. Try new things, and discover new technology!

Don't forget, if you sign up for both a morning and afternoon class, be sure to also register for lunch. Registering for lunch lets us know that your child will stay with us the whole day but we do not provide lunch. Please make sure you pack lunch for your child.

You'll learn about notation for reading and writing games as well. Each day will include a combination of instruction and games; on the last day we'll have an in-class tournament.
